Job summary

Step Into Learning is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 and small group support for learners with additional educational, behavioural, social or emotional needs. Up to two days may involve off-site support.

Working under the Lead Tutor and SENDCo, you will promote learner independence and achievement within an inclusive environment. The role requires GCSE Maths/English at Level 2, resilience, empathy, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Level 2 (C/4 or equivalent).
• Experience providing 1:1 and small group support to learners with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1, small group and classroom support for learners with additional educational, behavioural, social or emotional needs.
• Support learners under direction of Lead Tutor and SENDCo to promote independence and achievement in an inclusive environment.
