Merton College, part of South Thames Colleges Group, is seeking an Inclusive Learning Officer on a fixed-term contract from ASAP until 2 July 2027. The role focuses on coordinating in-class support for learners with learning difficulties and other support needs, including ESOL, English and Maths support.

You will implement personalised programmes, promote learner independence and progression, and ensure safeguarding and well-being across learning activities.

Competenze

• Proven track record in supporting learners with learning difficulties and other support needs.
• Good working knowledge of supporting learners in an educational context and delivering staff development.
• Competency in Microsoft Excel.

Mansioni

• Coordinate and monitor in-class support for learners with learning difficulties, disabilities and ESOL/English and Maths support needs.
• Implement agreed individual programmes of support to enable learners to achieve qualification aims and progress toward EHCP outcomes.
• Safeguard learners and promote their well-being in all aspects of learning.
