Job summary

Capital City College is seeking an Inclusion Coach to provide targeted support and intervention for learners facing barriers to participation. The role is full-time and permanent, working with curriculum teams, learner services and external agencies to ensure timely and effective support.

You will monitor learner progress, deliver one-to-one and small group interventions, and maintain accurate records. A DBS check is required, and a welcoming, inclusive college environment is emphasised.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with learners, parents and external partners.
• Ability to build positive relationships and provide consistent support and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support and intervention for learners facing barriers to participation, engagement, attendance, achievement and progression.
• Work with curriculum teams, learner services, parents/carers and external agencies to ensure timely and effective support.
• Create an inclusive learning environment and monitor learner progress, taking timely action on concerns.
• Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to improve engagement, resilience and study skills.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of interventions and engagement.
