Context

UCL Arena is UCL's academic development centre, supporting staff to enhance teaching, learning and assessment across the university. Through professional development programmes, educational enhancement initiatives and partnership activities, UCL Arena works to improve educational quality and the student experience.

This role forms part of the Student Success Project, From Barrier Stories to Design Change: A Disabled and Neurodivergent Student Inclusive Design Panel. The project seeks to place disabled and neurodivergent students' expertise at the centre of educational design by exploring barriers and enablers to learning and translating these insights into practical improvements for teaching, assessment, communication and student support.

Main purpose of the job

The Student Inclusive Design Co-Creator will contribute lived experience and expertise as a disabled and/or neurodivergent student to inform the development of staff-facing resources and inclusive educational design approaches.

Working in partnership with UCL Arena staff and fellow student co-creators, the postholder will support the identification, review and interpretation of anonymised student insights, helping ensure that project outputs are informed by authentic student perspectives and contribute to more inclusive teaching and learning practices across UCL.

Students will not be asked to disclose diagnoses or evaluate individual staff members, modules or departments.
