Job summary

Capgemini Invent is recruiting a Content Designer to join the Digital Excellence community. You will champion inclusive, user-centred design across project lifecycles, engage in diverse user research, and advocate for accessible digital services.

The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, traveling to client sites as needed, and delivering high-quality content that improves user experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and best practice.
• Experience in multidisciplinary Agile teams to design and deliver user-centred services.
• Designing content for diverse users including accessibility and assisted digital needs.
• SC Clearance or eligible (UK resident 3+ years, etc.).
• Experience with GDS service standards and WCAG guidelines.
• Writing inclusive content in plain English.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and build strong relationships with clients across projects, influencing and collaborating with them on the content.
• Create and iterate accurate user-centred content to a high standard that meets user needs.
• Use analytics data, user feedback and user research to identify user needs and map journeys.
• Make complex language and processes easy to understand.
• Bring new ideas and challenge the status quo.
• Be an advocate for user-centred design, iterative and agile approaches.
