Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Classroom Assistant to join schools in Bracknell & Wokingham. You will support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping with literacy, numeracy and other activities, and contribute to a calm, inclusive classroom environment.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with a daily rate of £95–£110 depending on experience. Start date is as soon as possible, with the 8:30am–3:30pm schedule. DBS checks and safeguarding compliance apply.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with their learning on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.
• Supporting children with additional learning needs, including SEND.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a calm, inclusive classroom environment.
• Helping pupils with literacy, numeracy and other curriculum activities.
• Monitoring pupils' progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Supporting pupils' social and emotional development where required.
• Following school safeguarding, behaviour and health and safety procedures.
