Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a motivated Classroom Assistant to join our Bracknell & Wokingham team. You will support pupils with their learning on a 1:1 and small-group basis and help develop literacy, numeracy and learning behaviours in a calm, inclusive classroom.

Ideally you have experience in schools or with SEND, are a reliable team player, and committed to safeguarding. The role runs during term-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, with pay rates quoted as £95–£110 per day

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils in classroom settings.
• Ability to work 1:1 and in small groups.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.
• Support children with additional learning needs (SEND).
• Encourage positive behaviour and a calm, inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist with literacy, numeracy and other curriculum activities.
• Monitor pupils' progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Support pupils' social and emotional development as required.
