Job summary

Teaching Personnel is hiring a Teaching Assistant for Bracknell & Wokingham. The role runs full-time, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with a schedule from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Salary ranges £95–£110 per day, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, assist with literacy and numeracy, and help create a calm, inclusive classroom. Previous school or SEND experience is welcome, with safeguarding training required.

Teaching Assistant – Bracknell & Wokingham (RG42/ RG40)

Location: Bracknell & Wokingham, Berkshire
Salary: £95–£110 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: As soon as possible
Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm, term time only

Your Role

As a Classroom Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils with their learning on a 1:1 and small-group basis.

Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.

Supporting children with additional learning needs, including SEND.

Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a calm, inclusive classroom environment.

Helping pupils with literacy, numeracy and other curriculum activities.
