Job description

Location: Stirling Inclusion Support Service, Chartershall, Fairhill Road, Whins of Milton, Stirling, FK7 0LL

Stirling Inclusion Support Service is a specialist service working closely with schools, partners, and families to improve outcomes for children and young people with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. The Service comprises a multi-disciplinary team providing outreach support to schools, with three bases offering more intensive support for a small number of children and young people requiring it. The Service promotes positive relationships, trauma-informed, and rights-based approaches, creating a nurturing and inspiring learning environment where children and young people can develop confidence, make informed decisions, and reach their full potential.

We are seeking an Inclusion Support Worker who is passionate about inclusion and equity to work with our children and young people across our bases, schools, and nurseries in Stirling. The successful candidate will support and inspire learners to achieve the best outcomes through the development and delivery of innovative sessions tailored to their needs.

The successful applicant must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If shortlisted after the interview, you will be asked to complete the necessary forms and undergo verification.

If you possess the right skills for this role, we encourage you to apply. We welcome applications from candidates regardless of age (note restrictions on Modern Apprenticeships), disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief, or race.

We offer:
  1. 30 days annual leave plus 7 public holidays, increasing to 35 days after 5 years of continuous service.
  2. Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid office and home working where role permits. We support flexible working to help balance your career and personal life—just let us know your needs.
  3. Biennial incremental progression up to the top of the pay scale.
  4. Up to 6 months of full sick pay and 6 months of half pay, depending on service length.
  5. Up to 4 weeks paid Paternity Leave.
  6. Access to Health & Wellbeing support.
  7. Ongoing Learning & Development opportunities.
