Job summary

St George's Church of England Primary School in Birmingham is seeking an Inclusion Support Assistant to work with a Year 1 pupil requiring SEND support. A Level 3 TA qualification is desirable, with Level 2 considered for the right candidate.

The role runs 8:30-15:30, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility in hours. You will support communication and language needs, work within EYFS and continuous provision, and collaborate with parents, carers and the SENCO to implement EHCP-based strategies

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SEND pupils and in EYFS and continuous provision.
• Ability to implement support per EHCP, including liaising with parents and SENCO.
• Good behaviour management.
• Flexible and well organised.
• Good communication with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support a Year 1 pupil requiring SEND support.
