Job summary

Entrust is seeking a Specialist Teacher Consultant to support schools and educational settings across Staffordshire with SEND, SEMH and inclusion. You will work with teachers, leaders and authorities to evaluate provision, provide guidance, and develop sustainable approaches to inclusion.

A strong track record and QTS are essential for this field-based role. You will conduct pupil assessments, offer practical recommendations, and deliver training to improve outcomes for children and young people

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a minimum of five years’ teaching experience across a range of educational settings.
• Experience of SEND, SEMH and inclusion-related work improves outcomes for children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Advise, support and challenge educational settings to develop inclusive practices and high-quality provision for learners with additional needs.
• Undertake pupil assessments and provide practical recommendations to improve provision and outcomes.
• Deliver training, coaching or professional development to school staff and leaders.
• Support workforce development through coaching and professional guidance.
• Collaborate with schools, local authorities and external agencies to champion best practice and compliance with statutory requirements.
