Tameside College in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking an Inclusion Mentor to support learners with attendance, pastoral and SEMH needs. You will work with teachers to help students access the curriculum and develop positive behaviours in and out of the classroom.

The role requires experience with young people, strong interpersonal skills, and a Level 2 qualification with willingness to progress to Level 3. The position is 0.88 FTE, term-time, with benefits and on-site facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting young people with barriers to learning.
• Ability to motivate learners with differing needs.
• Hold Level 2 qualification; willingness to pursue Level 3.

Responsabilités

• Support learners with low attendance and SEMH needs.
• Work with teachers to enable curriculum access.
• Develop positive behaviour and reduce learning disruptions.
• Manage a caseload of low-attendance learners.
