Job summary

Kingsbridge Academy is seeking a proactive Inclusion Team member to support pupils with barriers to learning, focusing on attendance and behaviour.

You must be highly organised, able to prioritise, lead by example, and work on your own initiative, engaging with students, parents and external agencies professionally. This role forms part of Education South West safeguarding commitments and requires willingness to undergo child protection screening.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
• Experience in supporting pupils with barriers to learning and liaising with parents and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Support attendance and behaviour within the Inclusion Team.
• Liaise with pupils, parents and external agencies professionally and confidentially.
• Assist safeguarding processes and referrals as required.

Job description

Working with the Inclusion Team to address the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning focusing specifically on student attendance and behaviour.

You must be extremely well organised, have the ability to prioritise work, be able to lead by example and to work on your own initiative. You will be a determined and resilient individual who believes that a culture of excellent behaviour for learning and respect is vital to the progress of our students and key to supporting them in unlocking their full potential. In fulfilling the role, you will be required to deal with students, parents and outside agencies in a professional, prompt and confidential manner.
