Job summary

Philips High School seeks an Inclusion HLTA to join the Inclusion Team, working with the SENCo and pastoral staff to support students with SEND, SEMH, attendance and behavioural needs. The role focuses on mentoring, targeted interventions and improving learning outcomes within an inclusive environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a school setting, strong communication skills and a resilient, empathetic approach, aligned with safeguarding and high expectations for all learners.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEND, SEMH, attendance and behavioural challenges to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Deliver targeted interventions, mentoring and pastoral support to help students progress.
• Monitor student progress and work with families and external agencies to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with the SENCo, pastoral teams and teaching staff to support learning.
