Job summary

Rochdale Council is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 3 or HLTA for Kingsway Park High School in Rochdale. The role is 32.5 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks), with a permanent contract, based at Seacole specialist inclusion provision and general pupil support.

You will support students aged 11-16, including those with SEND/SEMH, build positive relationships, and contribute to inclusion and safeguarding. The post offers Local Government Pension Scheme and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or HLTA status.
• Experience of working with 11-16 year olds and supporting SEND/SEMH needs.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families and staff.

• Support students with academic, social and emotional needs within inclusion provision.
• Contribute to targeted interventions and promote safeguarding and wellbeing.
