Job summary

Kingsway Park High School has a permanent Teaching Assistant Level 3 or Higher-Level Teaching Assistant role within the Inclusion Team. The post supports students who need additional academic, social and emotional help to engage with school and reach their potential.

Based in Seacole, you will deliver targeted interventions and build positive relationships with students and families, while upholding safeguarding and wellbeing commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children or young people aged 11–16.
• Experience of supporting students with SEND/SEMH or additional needs.
• Commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and wellbeing of every student.
• Reflective and committed to professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support students with their learning and engagement in class and targeted interventions.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Provide personal and academic support to help students reach their potential.
