Job summary

Lift Kingsley is seeking an ambitious leader to join the Senior Leadership Team as Assistant Principal (Inclusion). This role blends strategic leadership with responsibility for SEND provision to ensure every child receives an excellent education, every day, in every classroom.

As SENDCo, you will lead SEND across the school, removing barriers to learning and promoting an inclusive, high-achieving curriculum.

Qualifications

• Requires strong commitment to inclusion and improving outcomes for all students.
• Experience leading school improvement and SEND provision.
• Ability to set clear expectations and drive improvement across the school.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for SEND, ensuring provision is inclusive and compliant with statutory requirements.
• Identify and remove barriers to learning so students with additional needs achieve their potential.
• Collaborate with staff, families, external agencies and Resource Provision Lead to improve provision and outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate SEND provision using evidence to identify areas for improvement.
• Contribute to strategic leadership as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Lead priorities that strengthen teaching, learning, behaviour, wellbeing and school culture.
• Line manage teaching and support staff with clear direction and support.
