Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is seeking an experienced leader to head the Best Start in Life Inclusion Practitioner Team Manager. You will champion inclusion, early intervention, and restorative practice, guiding teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based support to children and families.

You will work with early years providers, families and partner agencies to reduce barriers, promote inclusive practice, and embed performance-driven improvements across Warwickshire.

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 3 qualification or above in SEND, Early Years, Education, Health, Social Care, or related field.
• Significant experience in children's services, early help, family support, or related field.
• Proven experience leading, motivating and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of inclusion, early intervention and family-centred practice.
• Knowledge of SEND legislation and local SEND pathways.
• Experience collaborating with families and professionals across education, health and social care.
• Experience embedding restorative and relationship-based approaches.
• Experience leading service improvement and change with positive outcomes.
• Strong performance management using data and insights.

Responsibilities

• Travel across Warwickshire to meet role requirements and engage with partners.
