Job summary

The Inclusion Coach role is part of the inclusion team at a further education provider in the East of England, starting November 2026 on a temporary basis. You will support learners with SEND one-to-one and in small groups, helping them access courses and progress toward their plans.

You will work with teaching staff to adapt lessons, advise on inclusive practice and maintain clear records to monitor progress, while promoting independence and confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people and/or adults with SEND.
• A good understanding of EHCPs.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A genuine commitment to helping learners develop independence.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support to learners with SEND.
• Supporting learners to work towards their EHCP outcomes.
• Helping learners develop independence, communication and confidence.
• Providing in-class, welfare and academic support.
• Advising teaching staff on inclusive practice and reasonable adjustments.
• Monitoring learner progress and maintaining accurate records.
• Working closely with teaching and support teams across the provision.
