Job summary

Wiltshire College & University Centre seeks a committed Director of Inclusion to lead strategic inclusion across campuses, ensuring belonging and high aspirations for all learners. You will champion inclusive teaching, drive participation improvements and build cross-sector partnerships to unlock learners’ potential.

The role requires experience in FE/HE environments, knowledge of SEND and equality, and a passionate commitment to inclusive cultures that empower every learner to succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading inclusive practice and improving learner outcomes.
• Strong understanding of SEND, additional learning support, equality and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for inclusion across the college and embed equality of opportunity.
• Lead the development and delivery of an Inclusion Strategy to remove barriers to participation and progression.
• Champion inclusive teaching, learning and assessment in collaboration with leaders and staff.
• Drive improvements in participation, attendance, wellbeing, achievement and progression with evidence-informed practice.
• Build partnerships with learners, families, employers, schools and external agencies.
• Use data, insight and learner voice to evaluate impact and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams with a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and funding responsibilities while pursuing inclusion goals.
