Job summary

Luddendenfoot Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational person to join our support team. You will help provide the best possible support and care to each student to ensure they reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week, term time only, including training days. You will support the internal behaviour provision, liaising with staff on progress, coordinate interventions and promote an inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in an educational environment or with young people.
• Experience of working with identified students or groups of students.
• Experience of monitoring and recording progress of learners.
• Innovative approaches to working with students, parents, the local community and multi-agency partners.

Responsibilities

• Support the internal behaviour provision, liaising with staff on student progress and interventions.
• Support development of the provision to meet the needs of a diverse group of students.
• Promote strategies to reduce exclusions and ensure entitlement to an appropriate curriculum.
• Liaise with SEN, Achievement and Support teams and coordinate interventions to improve student behaviour.
