Job summary

Broadoak Academy in Weston-super-Mare is seeking an Inclusion Supervisor to support students who need additional guidance to engage with learning. You will work within the Inclusion Team to create a calm, inclusive environment and supervise behaviour rooms.

Responsibilities include managing student behaviour, supporting engagement, and building strong relationships with families and staff to improve outcomes and wellbeing across the academy.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above.
• Experience of working with young people in an educational or support setting.
• Commitment to improving life chances for all students, especially those facing barriers.

Responsibilities

• Manage behaviour and support learning within the academy's behaviour rooms.
• Supervise students within the inclusion provision and help them stay engaged with education.
• Build positive relationships with students, families and staff to promote inclusion.
• Support students to reflect on choices and re-engage with learning to develop positive behaviours.
