Job summary

Perryfields Primary Pupil Referral Unit, operated by Worcestershire County Council, seeks an Inclusion Team Consultant. You will advise mainstream staff on pupils at risk of exclusion and help build positive behaviour approaches with schools, families and external agencies.

The role is full-time at 35 hours with part-time hours considered, and enhanced DBS clearance is required for appointment.

Qualifications

• Experienced inclusion practitioner with DBS checks
• Proven ability to identify pupils at risk of exclusion
• Capacity to coach mainstream staff and SENCOs in inclusion strategies
• Commitment to CPD and new inclusion approaches

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance and practical inclusion strategies for pupils whose behaviour may put them at risk of exclusion
• Identify pupils at risk of exclusion and their specific needs
• Motivate and support mainstream teachers and SENCOs to put inclusion strategies in place
• Work with staff, families and external agencies to develop positive behaviour approaches
• Help promote pupil engagement, wellbeing and successful outcomes
