William Lovell Church of England Academy is seeking an administrative support assistant to aid inclusion services, safeguarding and wellbeing initiatives, helping staff to track attendance and coordinate support for vulnerable pupils.
The role involves using pupil data to identify students needing SEND or wellbeing interventions, liaising with internal and external agencies, supporting action plans and ensuring accurate records and reporting for safeguarding and attendance.
Tocontribute to and provide administrative support to enable the development ofstudents’ social, emotional and mental health needs, inorder to enable effective teaching andlearning alongside effective safeguarding
To use student information,including data, to identify vulnerable students in need of SEND and/or social,emotional and mental health intervention, attendance support or wellbeingsupport.
To provide administrative supportfor all elements of Inclusion.
To provide administrative supportto enable mentoring/support sessions and group sessions/workshops to take placeand then be accurately recorded, tracked and evaluated in terms of impact.
To coordinate absence phone callsand ensure appropriate follow up. To conduct home visits as appropriate.
To support in the administrationand coordination of personalised action plans for groups and individual pupilsbased on a comprehensive evaluation of data relating to their strengths, needsand strategies for overcoming barriers to learning.
To work and liaise with internaland external agencies as and when required to ensure that appropriate channelsare available to students and parents and these are recorded accurately.
To support students and teachers indeveloping restorative approaches to positive learning behaviours throughanalysing and evaluating trends in behaviours, attendance, and safeguarding.
To provide administrative supportto school trips.
To provide administrative supportto transition opportunities, including primary liaison, year 5/6 days andorganising tours.
Evaluating students’ data andproducing/organising all paperwork related to attendance, including liaisonwith the school EWO.
To ensure that safeguarding, SENDand behaviour records and that school systems and procedures are followed.
To support with first aid/medicalprovision across the academy.
To promote positive values,attitudes and good student behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict andincidents in line with established policy and encouraging students to takeresponsibility for their own behaviour.
To attend and provideadministrative support for meetings (and associated reports) relating tosafeguarding and inclusion.
