Inbound New Business Development Manager - 12 months maternity cover

Location: Nelson (5 days office-based) - 12-month maternity cover

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30/9:00 - 17:00/17:30

As a Desk-Based Inbound New Business Development Manager, your role is to bring in new named business to Daisy Communications. You will handle inbound calls and leads, selling the full Daisy product portfolio to customers in the SME and Mid-Market sectors.
This is a fast-paced, desk-based role where exceeding ambitious sales and activity targets is expected. You will receive ongoing coaching and feedback to develop your sales skills, helping you maximize your potential.
With uncapped commission, this role offers excellent earning potential for high performers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate via phone with new customers, with some written correspondence, aiming to build and close new business sales.
  • Manage your workload, create sales opportunities, build a solid pipeline to achieve set MRR targets, and work towards KPIs. No two days are the same in this fast-paced role.
  • Proactively upskill and self-learn.
  • Schedule and complete all tasks within specified timescales, ensuring all systems are fully updated for each customer contact.
  • Collect Key Decision Maker contacts and details.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, telephone manner, and attitude at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven success in a new business sales role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Relationship management abilities
