Job summary

Prince Personnel is seeking a Logistics Planner in Telford to join the growing supply chain team on a permanent basis. You will coordinate inbound logistics, maintain visibility of shipments and support performance analysis to ensure continuity of supply.

Reporting to the Global Logistics Manager, you will liaise with freight forwarders, carriers and internal departments, resolve discrepancies, and help optimise freight costs.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, supply chain or inbound operations in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with freight forwarders, carriers and logistics documentation.
• Strong problem-solving to resolve discrepancies in shipments, invoices and stock.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound shipments to site ensuring visibility of status, priorities and potential risks.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers and internal stakeholders to maintain a smooth flow of goods.
• Monitor inbound schedules and ensuring site readiness for receipt.
• Maintain accurate inbound shipment records and system data.
• Act as the first point of contact for inbound logistics issues and discrepancies.
• Supporting logistics performance analysis, cost visibility and freight optimisation initiatives.
