Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead to guide a store team and ensure smooth, customer-focused operations on shift. You will be the on-shift leader, supporting daily store needs and delivering exceptional service across all areas.

You will coach colleagues, communicate clearly, and adapt to changing schedules within defined availability windows, with the aim of maintaining a high standard of customer care. You must be 18 or over to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team on shift to deliver great customer experiences.
• Work across all store areas and coordinate with colleagues to support daily operations.
• Coach colleagues, give feedback and role-model service excellence.
• Act as the on-shift leader in the Manager’s absence and make balanced, flexible decisions.
