Job summary

ASEL is seeking a Retail Security Officer in Derby to deter crime, respond to incidents, and complete detailed reporting. The role involves front-line guarding duties, access control, and collaboration with the Client and authorities. You must hold a current SIA licence to apply and training is provided.

Working pattern is 4 on 4 off across 48 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £13.00. Benefits include progression opportunities and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid SIA licence to apply.
• Retail security experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible deterrence in-store and respond to incidents.
• Complete incident reports and liaise with local authorities as needed.
• Carry out guarding duties including access control and CCTV reviews for loss investigations.
• Liaise with management and customers professionally, ensuring health & safety compliance.
