Job summary

Boots in the UK seeks a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist by dispensing prescriptions and advising patients, ensuring safe sale of medicines and high-quality patient care.

You will build relationships with customers, share healthcare knowledge to aid decision making, and participate in training with clear progression toward Pharmacy Technician or leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Experience dispensing prescriptions and providing patient care in a pharmacy setting.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain regulatory standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for advising patients and supporting the pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to Pharmacist as needed.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safe dispensing of prescriptions.
• Support patients with repeats and adherence to their prescriptions.
