Job summary

B&Q Peterborough is hiring a Customer Advisor on a permanent part-time contract. The role runs 7.00am–10.00pm with shifts across Monday to Sunday, 22.5 hours per week and an hourly rate stated at £13.10. You’ll help customers, assist with stock and displays, and maintain a welcoming store environment.

Training in paint-mixing and timber cutting may be provided; strong customer service is the main focus, with a flexible, friendly team culture.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing with a buzz for helping others.
• Open to learning new technologies and ways of working.
• Comfortable working in a rota that includes weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert customer advice and guidance.
• Assist with sales, stock management and display setup.
• Ensure store presentation is neat and inviting.
• Opportunity to train in paint-mixing and timber cutting.
