Job summary

B&Q Poole is seeking a Customer Advisor for a part-time, permanent role. Shifts cover Mondays to Sundays, 6.00am to 10.00pm, with a UK hourly rate of £13.10. You’ll be an expert advisor, helping customers with home improvement projects while supporting stock, displays and store presentation.

You’ll train in paint-mixing and timber-cutting, but great customer service remains the core aim. You must be friendly, flexible and team-spirited, able to work on a rota that includes weekends and bank

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, with a customer-first attitude.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new technology and ways of working.
• Team player able to work on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to customers on home improvement.
• Assist with stock management and display setup to keep the store looking great.
• Support painting and timber-cutting training as needed.
• Deliver great customer service as the main aim.
