Morrisons Market Street bakery team is hiring. You’ll deliver friendly service, bake a range of breads and pastries, and keep displays inviting. No prior bakery experience is required; training is provided.

This full-time role requires flexibility to work across shifts and counters to keep the store running smoothly. We value reliability and teamwork; you’ll help maintain high health and safety standards, support other fresh counters, and assist customers with a smile.

Qualifications

• Experience in a bakery or fast-paced food environment.
• Ability to deliver friendly, helpful customer service.
• Willingness to work across fresh counters to support store colleagues.
• Comfortable operating bakery equipment safely and hygienically.

Responsibilities

• Put customers first: Deliver friendly, helpful service that highlights the fresh bakery products we offer every shift.
• Prepare quality baked goods: Bake and prepare a wide range of breads, rolls, doughnuts, and fruited products to company specification.
• Maintain vibrant displays: Keep fresh, attractive bakery displays fully stocked throughout the trading day to ensure product availability.
• Keep operations safe and smooth: Operate bakery equipment safely, maintain high health and safety standards, and support other fresh counters when needed.
