Quantum Scholars is seeking a patient, experienced EOTAS/AP Tutor to provide personalised educational support to young people in Hereford. This in-person role focuses on helping learners re-engage with education and rebuild confidence.

The successful candidate will adapt teaching to individual needs, build trusting relationships, and collaborate with families, schools and support teams while maintaining safeguarding standards and professional boundaries.

Formación

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Experience with EOTAS, Alternative Provision, SEND and/or SEMH settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to adapt teaching and support to meet individual academic, emotional and behavioural needs.
• Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
• The right to work in the UK.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personalised one-to-one educational support.
• Support learners accessing EOTAS or Alternative Provision.
• Plan and deliver engaging and accessible learning sessions.
• Adapt teaching methods and pace to meet individual needs.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to parents/carers.
• Work collaboratively with families, schools and support teams.
• Maintain safeguarding and promote welfare of the learner.
• Create a calm, structured and supportive learning environment.
