Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Adult In-patient pathway at St Nicholas Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne. You will assess and treat adults, contribute to discharge planning, and support patients through recovery in a multidisciplinary setting.

Aufgaben

• Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for in-patient adults.
• Play a significant role in discharge planning and supporting patients along the recovery pathway.
• Offer autonomous practice while collaborating with the OT team and multi-disciplinary colleagues.
• Deliver client-centred, evidence-based occupational therapy in collaboration with patients and carers.
• Provide clinical supervision to colleagues as delegated by ward leadership.
• Contribute to a high quality, safe, individualised care aimed at promoting recovery and independence.
