Job summary

Pertemps Network Group in Motherwell is seeking an experienced In-House Recruiter to cover both specialist and high-volume vacancies in engineering and construction.

You will partner with hiring managers, source niche talent, and manage fast-paced recruitment campaigns across a busy site-based environment. The role requires strong assessment, communication, and relationship-building skills, with a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting in engineering or construction sectors is essential.
• Ability to manage end-to-end recruitment for specialist and high-volume roles.
• Strong sourcing and networking skills to identify niche candidates.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for specialist and high-volume vacancies across engineering and construction.
• Work with hiring managers to understand requirements, role profiles and workforce plans.
• Source candidates for niche and hard-to-fill positions using LinkedIn, job boards, direct sourcing and networking.
• Manage high-volume recruitment campaigns, filling vacancies efficiently within timescales.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines across engineering, construction and related disciplines.
• Screen and interview candidates for technical capability and cultural fit.
• Coordinate interviews, offers and onboarding activities.
• Develop relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on activity and pipelines.
• Use varied recruitment strategies from targeted headhunting to high-volume campaigns.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
• Support the wider HR and People team with recruitment projects as required.
