Octopus Legacy is seeking a passionate Probate Specialist to revolutionise our probate operations, bringing our processes in-house and managing high-volume estates from our London base (Holborn). This hybrid role offers three days in the office and up to two remote days per week, with the option to work from abroad for up to four weeks a year.

You will lead cases from opening to closing, coordinate with clients with empathy, ensure deadlines and regulatory compliance, and help develop templates,

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in estate and trust administration, with a focus on probate processes.
• Ability to handle a diverse caseload independently, ranging from simple to complex estates.
• Startup and volume-based environment experience is a plus.
• Flexible working arrangement with office-based days in London and remote options.

Aufgaben

• Work cross-functionally between Octopus Legacy and our subsidiary Octopus Legal Services.
• Proficiently manage probate caseload from case opening to closing, adhering to deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as primary contact for clients throughout the probate process with regular updates and empathy.
• Deliver excellent service to ensure case progression and client satisfaction.
• Prepare and review legal documents ensuring deadlines, accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and resolve complex legal issues that arise during probate processes.
• Perform administrative tasks related to probate administration and maintain case files.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes and share insights.
• Develop templates, precedents, and training resources for scalable operations.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects as required by management.
