Octopus Legacy is seeking a Probate Legal Assistant to support families through probate applications and estate administration. You will work with Probate Case Managers, helping after a death with warmth and care, while learning the ins and outs of probate.

No legal background is required; we’ll train you. It’s a role built on organisation, empathy, and strong communication in a fast-growing team that values customers first and acts with kindness.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with warmth and confidence during sensitive moments.
• Prepare correspondence, chase information, and manage legal forms accurately and on time.
• Produce documents, manage diaries, and keep filing and case records organised and up to date.
• Support Case Managers across the full lifecycle of a case to ensure smooth delivery.
• Keep customer records accurate and confidential at all times.
• Share ideas to improve processes, resources, and customer experience.
• Collaborate across teams to drive efficiency and elevate service.
