Octopus Legacy Limited is seeking a Probate Team Manager in London to lead a team of 8–10 Probate Case Managers. The role focuses on coaching, allocating cases, and maintaining pace with strong regulatory and customer-service standards.

Based in our London office with three days on-site (Tue–Thu), you will guide the team without a personal caseload, ensuring high-quality estate administration while leveraging technology to streamline admin tasks for families.

Formación

• Experience supervising or managing others in a legal environment.
• Comfortable handling targets and data to spot issues.
• Able to communicate with clients and teams during difficult conversations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Probate Case Managers with regular 1:1s and feedback.
• Allocate cases based on complexity and capacity to balance workloads.
• Supervise files for regulatory compliance and sign off work as required.
• Own complaints for the team and resolve them per procedures and timescales.
• Track performance against KPIs/SLAs and remove blockers with MI.
• Escalate complex issues and difficult client situations when needed.
• Ensure regulatory, compliance and data protection standards are met, with escalation to Compliance.
• Recruit, onboard and train new team members and build a pipeline.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations and Tech to improve processes and CX.
• Report team performance to Senior Operations Manager.
