Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group in Sheffield is seeking an experienced In-House Plot Conveyancer to manage plot sales, part-exchanges, and resales within an in-house legal team, supporting growth targets through 2028.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in plot sales/new build or residential conveyancing, with comprehensive knowledge of the conveyancing process and the residential property environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a plot sales/new build environment or residential conveyancing practice.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the conveyancing process and residential property environment.
• Ability to manage high volumes of work with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day plot conveyancing, including investigation of title for freehold and leasehold properties.
• Prepare reports on title and ensure all legal documentation is accurate and compliant.
• Conduct due diligence, including AML checks and source-of-funds verification.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (sales, commercial, land, and technical teams) to ensure timely completions.
• Maintain knowledge of current home ownership and sales incentive schemes.
