Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a part-time Support Worker to provide one-to-one, person-centred care for a gentleman in his own home in South Yardley, Birmingham. You will join an established team to support daily living, mobility, meals and household tasks, while preserving independence and familiar routines.

The role offers a flexible zero-hours contract with regular weekly shifts, and ongoing training through the Care Manager and Active Learning Hub.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised care and support with daily living, including personal care, mobility assistance, meals and household tasks.
• Foster independence, social engagement and maintain familiar routines.
• Provide continuity and stability through reliable, consistent support.
• Communicate effectively with client, family and care team to uphold high standards of care.
