Sense seeks a Male Support Worker in Birmingham, providing tailored support in our King's Heath service. You will help adults lead active lives, assist with personal care, and promote daily living skills within a 1:1 or 2:1 framework.

You’ll engage in activities such as gaming, sports, outings, and community sessions, with UK driving license required for external activities. Role includes flexible shifts across the week, with occasional bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support adults in a 1:1 or 2:1 setting, helping develop daily living skills and providing personal care as needed.
• Encourage participation in activities that promote health and well-being.
• Work with individuals who may show challenging behavior but communicate well, using methods like British Sign Language and picture communication.
• Assist with activities they enjoy: gaming, football, biking, volunteering, gym, cinema, arcade, bowling, music and sensory sessions, and walks in the park.
