Job summary

Oasis Homecare Ltd. is seeking a Health Care Assistant to help customers in their own homes in Halifax.

The role includes personal care, mobility support, meal preparation and hydration, and assisting with daily routines while ensuring a safe, supportive home environment. Applicants should be patient, trustworthy and able to work autonomously, with excellent communication skills; DBS clearance is required, and driving is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is preferred, but training is available.
• Ability to work autonomously and with kindness, patience and respect.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with mobility and safe transfers.
• Assist with meals, hydration and daily routines.
• Create a safe home environment and offer companionship and emotional support.
