Job summary

Oasis Homecare Ltd. is seeking a Health Care Assistant to help customers in their own homes in Halifax.

The role includes personal care, mobility support, meal preparation and hydration, and assisting with daily routines while ensuring a safe, supportive home environment. Applicants should be patient, trustworthy and able to work autonomously, with excellent communication skills; DBS clearance is required, and driving is desirable but not essential.

Oasis Homecare Ltd is looking for a caring and reliable Health Care Assistant to help customers in their own homes in Halifax.

The role involves personal care, assistance with mobility and safe transfers, meal preparation and hydration, administering or prompting medication as needed, supporting daily routines, creating a safe home environment, offering companionship and emotional support, and reporting any concerns to the office.

Applicants should demonstrate kindness, patience and respect, be trustworthy and able to work autonomously, and have excellent communication skills.

Previous care experience is preferred, but training is available.

The job is subject to completion of DBS clearance.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable but not needed.

The position offers £13.00 per hour, part-time hours and a zero-hours contract.
