Job summary

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 9-2 (A*-E) or equivalent demonstrating literacy and numeracy
• Level 3 qualification in Healthcare Support (NVQ/Diploma) or equivalent and Care Certificate completion
• Willingness to undertake training relevant to the role
• Moving and Handling

• Competent in venepuncture, cannulation and simple wound dressings
• Evidence of completion of Healthcare Assistant core competencies

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision to meet the needs of clients in their own home.
• Support the district nursing service and care delivery in community settings.
• Contribute to recording and reporting of client information.
• Be willing to undertake additional training to enable effective care delivery.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and communication.
