Job summary

Seetec in Devon seeks a Careers Information, Advice and Guidance Adviser to support participants in custody on resettlement. You will deliver tailored careers guidance, create action plans, and help manage barriers to employment while maintaining thorough records and compliance.

The role is full-time at HMP Channings Wood, with the stated salary range reflecting L4 qualifications. You will provide one-to-one guidance, run employability workshops, and arrange relevant training and education

Qualifications

• Level 4 qualification in Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance (or willingness to undertake).
• Experience delivering careers advice to adults.
• Good knowledge of the local labour market and employability support.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants in custody and support their resettlement goals.
• Provide careers information, advice and guidance to help progress toward employment.
• Deliver employability workshops and coordinate career events and speaker visits.
• Maintain accurate case notes and ensure timely updates on tracking systems.
• Build and sustain positive professional relationships with participants and staff.
