Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Registered Nurse for Clare Court Care Home in Birmingham. You will act as person in charge and stand in for the Manager as required, ensuring high standards of care for residents.

Responsibilities include medication distribution, family/GP communication, staff supervision, and care planning. DBS check required and eligibility to work in the UK will be verified.

Qualifications

• Must hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Demonstrate a minimum 2 years’ experience in care settings.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct care activities.
• Knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking nursing tasks including medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and chronic condition management.
• Advise families and GPs of changes in resident condition and involve them in care decisions.
• Supervise and deploy care team staff during duty periods to ensure residents receive care.
• Provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning.
