Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for Clare Court Care Home in Birmingham. You will act as the person in charge when needed and maintain high standards of care for residents.

The role requires a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration, with at least 2 years of care experience and strong interpersonal skills to guide and support the team. DBS disclosure will be arranged, and eligibility to work in the UK must be shown.

Qualifications

• First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in care with post-basic studies/qualification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
• Knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Advising families of residents and GPs of any changes in condition and keeping them informed.
• Supervision of staff within the care team to ensure tasks are completed and residents receive required care.
• Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.
