A leading company is seeking an Import & Export Coordinator to manage the movement of goods in and out of the UK. This full-time role involves coordinating international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and maintaining smooth communication with internal departments and external partners. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and a solid understanding of logistics processes.

We are seeking an organised and driven Import & Export Coordinator to join their growing team. This role is vital for managing and overseeing the movement of goods in and out of the UK, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and supporting the business’s international operations. You’ll collaborate with suppliers, freight agents, customs officials, and internal departments to ensure the smooth flow of shipments.
Within this position, you will be responsible for coordinating international shipments and ensuring that all customs documentation is accurately handled. This includes managing import/export paperwork, such as invoices, declarations, and licenses. You will also liaise with freight forwarders and suppliers to arrange delivery schedules and ensure that shipments are processed on time. A major aspect of the role is maintaining compliance with UK and international import/export regulations. You will also support internal teams by providing updates on stock arrivals and lead times and assist in resolving any delivery delays or issues that may arise.
Hourly Rate: The salary for this position ranges from £26,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.Please note: We do not offer visa sponsorship.
Working Hours: This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in an import/export or logistics role. A thorough understanding of international shipping processes, incoterms, and customs requirements is essential. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to communicate confidently with suppliers and freight companies. Experience using Excel and stock or order management systems is required.
