Import Export Coordinator

Our well-established client, operating within the scientific industry, is looking to onboard a reliable and experienced Import Export Coordinator to join their flourishing team.

Responsibilities:

1. Arrange and monitor the shipment of goods (by air, sea, or land).
2. Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.
3. Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
4. Prepare and review shipping documents.
5. Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
6. Maintain accurate records for audits and customs inspections.
7. Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments (e.g., sales, warehouse, finance).
8. Resolve issues related to shipping delays, customs holds, or damaged goods.
9. Provide updates to stakeholders on shipment status.
10. Negotiate freight rates and service contracts.
11. Monitor and control shipping costs.
12. Process freight invoices and ensure accuracy.
