Job summary

Yusen Logistics is seeking an Import Customer Services Coordinator to join our Rainham site (RM13 8EU). You will be the main contact for import shipments, handling customs clearance, haulage arrangements and client inquiries.

The role focuses on accuracy, excellent customer service, and efficient task prioritisation within a Monday–Friday schedule. Ocean freight forwarding experience is desirable, with a range of employee benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or freight forwarding is preferred.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Excellent administration and data-entry accuracy.
• Proactive and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Manage import container movements and ensure shipments are handled accurately.
• Provide transactional support such as customs clearance and arranging haulage.
• Act as direct point of contact for clients and respond courteously to enquiries.
• Communicate with team and management and escalate where needed.
• Ensure information accuracy and high standards of service.
• Handle FCL and LCL consolidation as required.
